2036 Series High-Temperature Surface Mount Gas Dis

Bourns’ model 2036-xx-SM-RPLF-H is a 3-electrode gas discharge tube (GDT) designed for use in applications requiring a wide operating temperature range. The model 2036 series has stable operating characteristics over an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C making it ideal for remote-outdoor communications equipment and environmentally exposed industrial equipment requiring overvoltage protection.

The 2036 series offers a robust current handling capability of 10 kA on an 8/20 µs current waveform and 2 kA on a 10/350 µs. The 3-electrode design also provides balanced voltage limiting in response to a common mode surge event. The series is RoHS compliant.

The Bourns model 2036 high-temperature rated TRIGARD™ series is a 3-electrode GDT surge protection device. The surface mount device provides robust performance and balanced protection in a small 5 mm diameter package. The series provides stable and long-term performance over a wide temperature range, making it ideal for applications and equipment exposed to harsh environments.
