IXYS/Littelfuse's CPC1984Y is a 600 V 1 Amp, single-pole, normally open OptoMOS power SIP relay rated for up to 1 ADC/1 Arms continuous load current. This device utilizes optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 4,000 Vrms of input to output isolation. The optically coupled outputs, employing IXYS ICD/Littelfuse's patented OptoMOS architecture, are controlled by a highly efficient infrared LED.
The 600 V absolute maximum relay output blocking voltage rating provides sufficient design margin for both 100 Vrms/220 Vrms power line applications for universal power supplies. Together, the low 0.66 ohms on-resistance and high-load current handling capability make this relay suitable for a variety of high-performance switching applications including industrial and motor controls, utility meters (watt-hour, water, gas), instrumentation, medical equipment, and home appliances.
Additional features include high reliability, low drive power requirements (TTL/CMOS compatible), arc-free switching with no snubbing circuits, no EMI/RFI generation, and a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
