Low-Power Front Lights

FLEx Lighting's front light panel is designed for reflective LCDs, transflective LCDs, and e-paper displays providing an ultra-low power alternative to traditional backlit LCDs. The combination of memory-in-pixel (MIP) display technology and FLEx's front light panel allows a user to capture 80x power savings and see the device at all times, whether it's in direct sunlight or low-lit, dark environments.

The developer kits provide a customized experience to evaluate the front light and its respective display technology. A user can drag-and-drop custom images, alter the display brightness, and more by powering the development kit through the control software.
