GB Series of AC/DC Power Supplies

SL Power's GB Series is designed to offer superior performance and minimize the effort required for system integration across many markets and applications including test and measurement, medical, lighting, and industrial.

The developed product families come in 10 W, 20 W, 30 W, and 40 W configurations. Each family is comprised of models with varying voltages ranging from 5 V to 24 V. These units are approved to medical and industrial safety standards: EN/IEC/UL60601-1, 3rd edition (with 2 x MOPP isolation), and EN/IEC/UL62368-1. In addition, they are designed to meet the EMC requirements per UL/EN/IEC60601-1-2, 4th edition (heavy industrial levels of EN61000-4-x standards).

The GB Series will operate at universal input range of 90 VAC to 264 VAC over the wide temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, delivering full rated output power up to +40°C and applicable output power derating up to +70°C. These models are available as an open frame or PCB mount for greater flexibility.

Value Proposition

  • Meeting Class B EMI levels with margin ensures less effort by the system designer to integrate a power supply into the end equipment
  • Built-in protections against unstable operational environments minimize the need for implementing at the system level, resulting in shorter development time and reduced cost. Use of high-quality electrolytic capacitors well below their threshold and ESR ratings help extend the life of the end equipment and minimize field service needs
  • High convection rating minimizes the need to rely on forced air, thereby increasing reliability and minimizing system cost by eliminating the need for a fan
