Vishay's VLMU35CM ceramic mid-power ultraviolet (UVC) emitting diode has a quartz window that delivers extremely long life in a compact 3.55 mm by 3.5 mm by 1.2 mm surface-mount package. It is designed to replace mercury UVC lamps, has high radiant power without the need for an external lens, and is built on AIGaN technology.
