i.MX 8M Mini Applications Processor

NXP's i.MX 8M Mini applications processor has built-in high-performing and power-efficient 14 FinFET technology. It is the choice for high-performing and cost-effective products in the rapidly evolving smart home and smart embedded industrial market segments. It is NXP’s first product in 14 FinFET technology that is qualified for industrial operation, which means a minimum of 10 years of continuous operation in harsh environments.

NXP’s i.MX 8M Mini applications processor has great media capabilities for media-rich consumer and embedded industrial applications. Its range of capabilities in terms of system connectivity (PCIe®, Gbit Ethernet, SDIO/eMMC, USB 2.0, MIPI-CSI, MIPI-DSI) and memory interface flexibility (LPDDR4, DDR4, DDR3L) make it extremely applicable to a broad spectrum of non-media-rich general-purpose applications requiring high-performance, power-efficient operation and attractive system cost. The i.MX 8M family is the evolution of the industry-leading i.MX 6 series for mainstream embedded processing.

The i.MX 8M Mini product lineup includes the i.MX 8M Mini Quad/Dual/Solo and the QuadLite/DualLite/SoloLite versions in the same 14 mm x 14 mm x 0.5 mm package. The Quad/Dual/Solo integrates four, two, or one Arm® Cortex®-A53 cores, one Cortex-M4F core, GCNanoUltra 3D GPU, GC320 2D GPU,1080p60 h.265 and VP9 decode, and 1080p60 h.264 and VP8 encode. The QuadLite/DualLite/SoloLite integrates four, two or one Arm Cortex-A53 cores, one Cortex- M4F core, GCNanoUltra 3D GPU, and GC320 2D GPU. They are all qualified for industrial and commercial operating conditions.
