Cypress Semiconductor's EZ-BT™ XR WICED® module (CYBT-483039-02) is a dual-mode Bluetooth BR/EDR and Low Energy (BLE) wireless module solution. Its PA/LNA functionality is made for pushing the Bluetooth boundaries, providing up to 1 kilometer bidirectional communication, implementing an internal power amplifier into the module. CYBT-483039-02 is Bluetooth SIG Mesh qualified and comes in a 12.75 mm x 18.59 mm x 1.80 mm form-factor.
The module hosts the Cypress CYW20719 wireless MCU, providing SuperMux-capable I/Os combined with 1024 KB Flash memory and 512 KB SRAM. Its WICED compatibility offers easy system integration and software development for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-combined solutions.
Cypress provides an Arduino-compatible, easy-to-use evaluation board (CYBT-483039-EVAL) for this module. Developers can prototype ultra-long-range, Bluetooth IoT applications with this module evaluation board using the WICED Studio SDK.
