MODM7AE70 Arm®-Based System-on-Module

NetBurner’s MODM7AE70 Arm-based system-on-module features the powerful Microchip/Atmel SAM E70 32-bit Arm Cortex-M7 embedded processor. Designed for ease of use and reliability, the MODM7AE70 can be used as the main processor for an embedded system or added to an existing design to provide secure networking capability. As a low-power module utilizing high energy efficiency, it’s perfect for projects looking to jump into today’s growing internet of things (IoT) infrastructure.

Industrial temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C and RoHS compliance make the SOM suitable for industrial grade designs, while NetBurner’s IDE, development tools, examples, and documentation make it easy to get started for engineers of all skill levels. The MODM7AE70 is ideal for both industrial grade designs and at home do-it-yourself projects.

Along with NetBurner’s custom and highly optimized RTOS, available software libraries include a TCP/IP stack, an embedded web server, an embedded Flash file system, and support for secure communications with SSL/TLS encryption. The MODM7AE70 also includes a wide variety of incredibly useful peripherals.

With over 100 examples demonstrating the use of core libraries and peripherals, the MODM7AE70 enables rapid prototyping and application development. Whether the designs are used in industrial automation, robotics, (renewable) energy, manufacturing, health care, smart cities, or anything else, the MODM7AE70 is an invaluable asset that can get the projects up and running faster than ever before.
