Ultra-Low Capacitance TVS Diode Arrays for Ultra-H

Littelfuse's SP3208 and SP3213 series provide ultra-low capacitance, bidirectionality, and a high level of protection for electronic equipment that may experience destructive electrostatic discharges (ESD). The typical capacitance of 0.08 pF helps ensure excellent signal integrity on the most challenging consumer electronics interfaces. It can safely absorb repetitive ESD strikes at ±12 kV (contact discharge, IEC 61000-4-2) without performance degradation and safely dissipate 2 A of 8/20 μs surge current (IEC 61000-4-5 2nd edition).

The lower capacitance helps customers who struggle with signal integrity. There are passive low -capacitance devices, but they are not regarded as good ESD protection devices. Voltages as low as 10 V can deliver permanent damage to the chips that they are protecting, and the turn on voltages for competitive passives is as high as 500 V.
