Alliance Memory responded to Micron Technology's announcement of a last-time buy date for its 8 Gb DDR3L single-die SDRAMs by offering the original Micron part numbers, along with Alliance Memory identical replacements. For long-term support and new designs, the Alliance AS4C1G8D3LA and AS4C512M16D3LA/D3LB dual-die 8Gb DDR3L SDRAMs are pin-for-pin drop-in replacements and are fully compatible with the monolithic devices.
