***th Star Micro: The CAT3200 and CAT3200-5 are switched capacitor boost converters that deliver a low noise regulated output voltage. The CAT3200-5 gives a fixed regulated 5.0 V output. The CAT3200 has an adjustable output using external resistors. The constant frequency 2.0 MHz charge pump allows small 1.0 F ceramic capacitors to be used. Maximum output loads of up to 100 mA can be supported over a wide range of input supply voltages (2.7 V to 4.5 V) making the device ideal for battery-powered applications. A shutdown control input allows the device to be placed in power-down mode reducing the supply current to less than 1.0 A. In the event of short circuit or overload conditions the device is fully protected by both foldback current limiting and thermal overload detection. In addition a soft start slew rate control circuit limits inrush current during power up. The CAT3200-5 is available in a 6-lead 1 mm max thin SOT23 package. The CAT3200 is available in an 8-lead MSOP package.

The device features fast rise times, fall times, and propagation delays, making the UCD27511A-Q1 device suitable for high-speed applications. The device features 4-A peak source and 8-A peak sink currents with asymmetrical drive, boosting immunity against parasitic Miller turnon effect. The split output configuration enables easy and independent adjustment of rise and fall times using only two resistors and eliminating the need for an external diode.

UCC27511 High-Speed, Low-Side Gate Driver: OMO Electronic UCC27511 high-speed, low-side gate driver is capable of effectively driving MOSFET and IGBT power switches. TI UCC27511 uses a design that inherently minimizes shoot-through current, making it capable of sourcing and sinking high, peak-current pulses into capacitive loads that offer rail-to-rail drive capability and extremely small propagation delay (typically 13ns). UCC27511 provides 4A source, 8A sink (asymmetrical drive) peak-drive current capability. Strong sink capability in asymmetrical drive boosts against parasitic, Miller turn-on effect.
