On Semiconductor NCP1605 and NCP1606 Power Factor Controllers are high-voltage, efficient standby mode power factor controllers. These controllers are optimized for PC power supplies and off-line appliances requiring power factor correction. The NCP1605 and NCP1606 controllers offer unity and near-unity power factor. These controllers find their applications in electronic light ballast, AC adapters, TVs and all offline appliances requiring power factor corrections.
