***rchild Semiconductor: FSB50250AS is an advanced Motion SPM® 5 series based on fast-recovery MOSFET (FRFET®) technology as a compact inverter solution for small power motor drive applications such as fans and pumps. FSB50250AS contains six FRFET MOSFETs, three half-bridge gate driver HVICs with temperature sensing, and three bootstrap diodes in a compact package fully isolated and optimized for thermal performance. FSB50250AS features low electromagnetic interference (EMI) characteristics through optimizing switching speed and reducing parasitic inductance. Since FSB50250AS employs MOSFETs as power switches, it provides much more ruggedness and larger safe operating area (SOA) than IGBT-based power modules. FSB50250AS is the right solution for compact and reliable inverter designs where the assembly space is constrained.

Advanced Motion SPM® 5 Modules: ON Semiconductor Advanced Motion SPM® 5 Modules provide a fully-featured and high-performance inverter output stage for AC Induction, BLDC, and PMSM motors. The SPM 5 modules integrate optimized gate drive of the built-in MOSFETs (FRFET® or SuperFET® technology) to minimize EMI and losses. This also provides multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts and thermal monitoring. The built-in high-speed HVIC requires only a single supply voltage and translates the incoming logic-level gate inputs to the high-voltage and high-current drive signals. The SPM 5 modules come with separate open-source MOSFET terminals for each phase to support the widest variety of control algorithms.

Motion SPM® Modules: ON Semiconductor Motion SPM® Modules integrate drive and protection circuitry into a single package. These modules simplify and accelerate designs and optimize efficiency. The SPM modules are sometimes referred to as Intelligent Power Modules (IPM). A full line of highly integrated smart power modules is available for a wide range of energy-savvy applications. The SPM modules provide solutions that drive efficiency reducing board space, improving system reliability, and speeding time-to-market.

FSB50825AB Smart Power Module: ON Semiconductor FSB50825AB Smart Power Module (SPM®) is a compact inverter solution for small power motor drive applications. This module includes six Fast-Recovery MOSFETs (FRFET) and three half-bridge High Voltage Integrated Circuits (HVICs) for FRFET gate driving. The FSB50825AB provides low EMI characteristics with optimized switching speed. This SPM features an embedded bootstrap diode and available in an SPM23DD-21L package. The SPM23DD-21L package is optimized for the thermal performance and compactness to make it suitable for built-in motor applications. This SPM also includes three divided negative DC-link terminals for inverter current sensing applications.
