***AS INTRUMENTS: The DRV8823 provides an integrated motor driver solution for printers and other office automation equipment applications.

***ASIN: The motor driver circuit includes four H-bridge drivers. Each of the motor driver blocks employ N-channel power MOSFETs configured as an H-bridge to drive the motor windings.

***AS INSTRU: A simple serial interface allows control of all functions of the motor driver with only a few digital signals. The devices also provides a low-power sleep function.

***AS: The motor drivers provide PWM current control capability. The current is programmable, based on an externally supplied reference voltage and an external current sense resistor. In addition, eight current levels (set through the serial interface) allow microstepping with bipolar stepper motors.

***AS INSTRU: Internal shutdown functions are provided for overcurrent protection (OCP), short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature.

***AS INSTUMENTS: The DRV8823 is packaged in a 48-pin HTSSOP package (eco-friendly: RoHS and no Sb/Br).

DRV8x Integrated Motor Drivers: OMO Electronic DRV8x motor drivers are intended to drive an electromagnetic machine, such as a brushed or brushless motor, stepper motor, or other electromechanical actuator. The TI DRV8x family of integrated motor drivers enable designers to quickly and easily spin their motors, reducing time to market and greatly simplifying design. By integrating the gate drive circuitry, sense amps, protection, FETS, industry standard control interfaces, and drive algorithms, the design complexity, board space, and time to spin a motor have all be greatly reduced. With on-chip protection including overcurrent, thermal, shoot-through, and undervoltage, the DRV8x family is robust, reliable, and fully protected.
