Synchronous Step-Down DC-DC Converter: TPS62601: OMO Electronic´ TPS62601 synchronous step-down DC-DC converter supports up to 500mA load current, a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 5.5V, and a regulated 6 MHz switching frequency. This TI device enters power-save mode operation at light load currents to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. The converter's PFM mode extends the battery life by reducing the typical quiescent current to 30µA during light load and standby operation. The product can also be placed in fixed frequency PWM mode for noise-sensitive applications.
