The Freescale Semiconductor MC9S08LL LCD microcontroller (MCU) family extends battery life with industry leading low-power technology. The advanced MC9S08LL64 LCD MCU features best-in-class standby power consumption, enabling devices to continue functioning for six years using two AAA batteries. The Freescale Semiconductor MC9S08LL64 MCU can be powered down to 1.8V and still operate at 20MHz, offering high performance even at low-voltage levels for battery-powered applications. The Freescale Semiconductor MC9S08LL LCD MCU family provides flash memory options from 8K to 64K. The MC9S08LL64 MCUs are pin-compatible with the MC9S08LL16 MCUs and share peripherals with the RS08 and S08 families to enable a seamless transition from one device to the next. The MC9S08LL family is ideal for battery-powered applications such as medical diagnostics and handheld appliances.
