GreenChip AC to DC Solutions: NXP Semiconductor GreenChip AC-to-DC Solutions are highly integrated devices, designed to enable low no-load power consumption below 10mW, reduce component count for a cost effective application design, and provide advanced control modes that deliver exceptional efficiency.

TEA18362T SMPS Controller IC: NXP Semiconductors TEA18362T GreenChip SMPS controller IC is intended for flyback power supplies that can deliver up to 75W. At high power levels TEA18362T operates in quasi-resonant (QR) mode. At lower power levels, the controller switches to frequency reduction (FR) or discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and limits the peak current to ~25% of the peak current. At low power levels, when the switching frequency drops below 25kHz, the flyback converter switches to burst mode. This ensures high efficiency at low power and excellent no load power performance.
