***e Depot: Circuit breakers protect the wires in your home from overheating (referred to as an overload) and fault currents (referred to as short circuits). The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 15/20 Amp 1 in. Duplex Type BR Circuit Breaker is also known as tandem breaker. Tandem breakers are convenient for adding circuits to a full load center and are sometimes used to reduce the physical size of the load center. This a non-circuit limiting breaker. The BR tandem line of breakers is intended for replacement purposes on load centers made prior to 1968.

***lex Electric: Eaton Type BR 1-Pole circuit breaker is rated at 15 - 20-Amps and 120/240-Volt AC. Interrupt rating of this circuit breaker is 10-Kilo-Amps. It measures 1-Inch x 2.5-Inch x 3-Inch. This 1-Phase circuit breaker accommodates copper/aluminum wire of size 14 - 4-AWG. This duplex circuit breaker features thermal-magnetic trip function to ensure reliability. It employs quick-make, quick-break switch mechanism with inverse time element tripping operation and trip-free handle design. Plug-on mountable breaker is perfect for use on Type BR loadcenters. It withstands temperature of 60 deg C/75 deg C. Circuit breaker is UL listed and meets Federal Specifications.
