The AD8002 is a dual, low power, high speed amplifier designed to operate on ±5 V supplies. The AD8002 features unique transimpedance linearization circuitry. This allows it to drive video loads with excellent differential gain and phase performance on only 50 mW of power per amplifier. The AD8002 is a current feedback amplifier and features gain flatness of 0.1 dB to 60 MHz while offering differential gain and phase error of 0.01% and 0.02°. This makes the AD8002 ideal for professional video electronics such as cameras and video switchers. Additionally, the AD8002's low distortion and fast settling make it ideal for buffer high speed A-to-D converters. The AD8002 offers low power of 5.5 mA/amplifier max (VS = ±5 V) and can run on a single +12 V power supply, while being capable of delivering over 70 mA of load current. All this is offered in a small 8-pin DIP or 8-pin SOIC package. These features make this amplifier ideal for portable and battery powered applications where size and power is critical.

The AD8032 (dual) is a single supply voltage feedback amplifier that features high speed performance with 80 MHz of small signal bandwidth, 30 V/µs slew rate and 125 ns settling time. This performance is possible while consuming less than 4.0 mW of power from a single +5 V supply. This feature increases the operation time of high speed, battery-powered systems without compromising dynamic performance. The AD8032 has true single supply capability with rail-to-rail input and output characteristics and is specified for +2.7 V, +5 V, and ±5 V supplies. The input voltage range can extend to 500 mV beyond each rail. The output voltage swings to within 20 mV of each rail providing the maximum output dynamic range. The AD8032 also offers excellent signal quality for only 800 µA of supply current per amplifier; THD is -62 dBc with a 2 V p-p, 1 MHz output signal, and -86 dBc for a 100 kHz, 4.6 V p-p signal on +5 V supply. The low distortion and fast settling time makes it ideal as a buffer to single supply ADCs. Operating on supplies from +2.7 V to +12 V and dual supplies up to ±6 V, the AD8032 is ideal for a wide range of applications, from battery operated systems with large bandwidth requirements to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation. The AD8030 is a dual, rail-to-rail input and output high speed amplifier with a quiescent current of only 1.3 mA per amplifier. Despite its low power consumption, the amplifier provides excellent performance with 125MHz small signal bandwidth and 60 V/µs slew rate. ADI's proprietary XFCB process enables high speed and high performance on low power. This amplifier exhibits true single-supply operation with rail-to-rail input and output performance for supply voltages ranging from 2.7V to 12V. The input voltage range extends 200 mV beyond each rail without phase reversal. The dynamic range of the output extends to within 40 mV of each rail. The AD8030 provides excellent signal quality with minimal power dissipation. At G=+1, SFDR is -72dBc at 1MHz and settling time to 0.1% is only 80 ns. Low distortion and fast settling performance makes this amplifier a suitable driver for single-supply A/D converters. The versatility of the AD8030 allows the user to operate the amplifier on a wide range of supplies while consuming less than 6.5 mW of power. This feature extends the operation time in applications ranging from battery-powered systems with large bandwidth requirements to high speed systems where component density requires lower power dissipation. The AD8030 is the only low power, rail-to-rail input and output high speed amplifier available in SOT23 and SC70 micro packages. The amplifier is rated over the extended industrial temperature range, -40°C to +125°C.

The AD8072 (dual) and AD8073 (triple) are low cost, current feedback amplifiers intended for high volume, cost sensitive applications. In addition to being low cost, these amplifiers deliver solid video performance into a 150 (ohm) load while consuming only 3.5 mA per amplifier of supply current. Furthermore, the AD8073 is three amplifiers in a single 14-pin narrow-body SOIC package. This makes it ideal for applications where small size is essential. Each amplifier’s inputs and output are accessible providing added gain setting flexibility. These devices provide 30 mA of output current per amplifier, and are optimized for driving one back terminated video load (150 (ohm)) each. These current feedback amplifiers feature gain flatness of 0.1 dB to 10 MHz while offering differential gain and phase error of 0.05% and 0.1°. This makes the AD8072 and AD8073 ideal for business and consumer video electronics. Both will operate from a single +5 V to +12 V power supply. The outputs of each amplifier swing to within 1.3 volts of either supply rail to accommodate video signals on a single +5 V supply. The high bandwidth of 100 MHz, 500 V/µs of slew rate, along with settling to 0.1% in 25 ns, make the AD8072 and AD8073 useful in many general purpose, high speed applications where a single +5 V or dual power supplies up to ±6 V are needed. The AD8072 is available in 8-pin plastic DIP and SOIC packages while the AD8073 is available in 14-pin plastic DIP and SOIC packages. Both operate over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to +70°C.
