TLP700 Photocoupler: The Toshiba TLP700 photocoupler is housed in a new 6-pin SDIP package designed to comply with reinforced-insulation-class international safety standards. Toshiba photocouplers have traditionally been offered in an 8-pin DIP. The new package occupies about half the space of the 8-pin devices. The TLP700 photocoupler can directly drive medium-power IGBTs and MOSFETs. The totem-pole output stag of the TLP700 can sink and source current. The TLP700 photocoupler also features the industry's lowest power consumption.
