XR17D158 8-Channel Universal PCI UART
MaxLinear XR17D158 8-channel universal PCI UART can interface directly to a 3.3V or 5V PCI bus and allows data to be loaded into or unloaded from the FIFOs 32 bits at a time. This MaxLinear device features a maximum baud rate of 6.25Mbps, a global interrupt source register that simplifies servicing interrupts, 64bytes TX/RX FIFOs for reduced interrupt burden on the CPU, automatic HW or SW flow control that prevents FIFO overrun/data loss, and auto RS-485 half-duplex control for simplified half-duplex RS-485 designs. The XR17D158 is ideal for universal form factor PCI bus add-in cards, remote access servers, network management, factory automation and process control, point-of-sale systems, and more.
