The ADS8318 is a 16-bit, 500-KSPS analog-to-digital converter. It operates with a 2.048-V to 5.5-V external reference. The device includes a capacitor based, SAR A/D converter with inherent sample and hold.

Analog-to-Digital Converter: ADS8318
OMO Electronic´ ADS8318 analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is designed to target existing ADI MSOP-10 sockets. The TI device includes a 16-bit capacitor-based SAR ADCwith inherent sample and offers an SPI-compatible serial interface tominimize board space and simplify connectivity to the host device. The ADS8318 has a single differential input and requires a differential signal path for maximum performance.
