LT3080/LT3080-1 Single Resistor LDOs
Linear Technology / Analog Devices Inc. LT3080/LT3080-1 1.1A Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulators incorporates an internal ballast resistor that allows direct paralleling of devices without the need for PC board trace resistors. Keeping the board layout simple and easy, the internal ballast resistor allows multiple devices to be paralleled directly on a surface mount board for higher output current and power dissipation. The device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple input supplies.
LT308x Adjustable Single Resistor LDOs
Linear Technology / Analog Devices Inc. LT308x adjustable single resistor low dropout linear regulators (LDOs) can be paralleled to increase output current or spread heat in surface mounted boards. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower allows the regulators to be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero, and no heat sink. The devices bring out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation when used with multiple supplies.
