BD83070GWL FET Buck-Boost Converters
ROHM Semiconductor BD83070GWL Synchronous Buck-Boost DC/DC converter provides a 3.3V or 2.5V output from a single-cell lithium-ion battery or other input between 2.0V and 5.5V. The device changes between buck and boost operations depending on the input voltage. The converter is geared toward smaller electronic devices such as portables that are battery-powered, tablets, and smartphones. The converter is also based on pulse width modulation (PWM) and provides high efficiency for a heavy load. Internal FETs switch at fixed frequency 1.5MHz typical while in PWM operation. The device automatically changes over control system to hysteresis pulse frequency modulation (PFM) to suppress switching loss and current consumption during light load.
Switching Regulator Boost Converters
ROHM Semiconductor Switching Regulator Boost Converters feature integrated FETs and power MOSFETs with 1-channel and 2-channel variants. These boost converters operate across various input voltage ranges from 0.6V to 5.5V. The switching regulator boost converters operate at temperature ranges of -40°C to 85°C, -25°C to 85°C, -35°C to 85°C, and -40°C to 125°C. These boost converters include synchronous and non-synchronous variants.
