PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VersaSense Passive Infrared (PIR)
Presence Sensor (S01) detects the motion of
warm objects such as humans and animals
within its range and field of view.
VERSASENSE SENSORS
VersaSense Sensors are self-identifying
sensors and actuators that connect to
VersaSense Wireless Devices to provide plug-
and-play sensing and control.
The VersaSense software automatically
installs and configures all drivers, eliminating
the cost and complexity of deploying an IoT
network.
Note: only one peripheral of this type may be
connected to a VersaSense Wireless Device.
APPLICATIONS
The passive infrared sensor is typically used to
detect the presence or absence of humans
and animals within discrete rooms or zones.
Applications include:
Burglar alarm systems
Smart lighting systems
Safety control systems
Animal enclosure monitoring
