MIKROE-1199

1. Introduction
Once you have soldered the headers your
board is ready to be placed into desired
mikroBUS™ socket. Make sure to align the
cut in the lower-right part of the board
with the markings on the silkscreen at the
mikroBUS™ socket. If all of the pins are
aligned correctly, push the board all
the way into the socket.

4. Essential features
Turn the board upward again. Make sure
to align the headers so that they are
perpendicular to the board, then solder the
pins carefully.
Turn the board upside down so that
bottom side is facing you upwards. Place
shorter parts of the header pins in both
soldering pad locations.

Before using your click board™, make sure
to solder 1x8 male headers to both left
and right side of the board. Two 1x8 male
headers are included with the board in
the package.

Flash Click™ is an accessory board in
mikroBUS
form factor. It’s a compact and
easy solution for adding more ash memory
to your device. It features M25P80 - 8Mb
serial Flash memory module with advanced
hardware write protection mechanisms.
Flash Click™ communicates with the
target board via SPI interface. The board is
designed to use 3.3V power supply only. It
has a LED diode (GREEN) that indicates the
presence of power supply.
Flash Click™ with it’s M25P80 module
gives additional 8Mb of Flash memory to
your design. The M25P80 supports high-
performance commands for clock frequency
up to 75MHz. It is divided in 16 sectors, each
containing 256 pages. Each page is 256 bytes
wide. Memory can be viewed either as 4,096
pages or as 1,048,576 bytes.

6. Power supply - 3.3V only
The board is designed to
use 3.3V power supply
only. If you need to add
serial Flash memory module
to your 5V development
board, we recommend you to use other
boards such as the SerialFlash board:
