AMT203‐DMK
The AMT203-DMK is an easy-to-use demo kit designed for the AMT203 absolute modular
encoder. The kit allows for stand-alone demonstration or for pc access to the SPI interface
in production. It is an outstanding tool for experimentation and familiarization with the
AMT203 features.

Power adapter
A full range of functions are accessible including absolute position read, zero set, CW/CCW
incrementing, incremental position, slow/fast read mode, up/down counter monitoring and
others. All functions can be manipulated via a PC using the software and most through the
pushbuttons on the demo board. Software includes the required VCP (Virtual COM Port)
drivers for all Windows™
,Mac™, and Linux™ operating systems.
The board includes three I/O connectors – a 10 pin header for communicating directly with
the included AMT203, a 20 pin expansion header for stepper motor control, and a 12 pin
PicKit2 header for manipulation of the on-board PIC MCU.
