Introduction
For the VARICON range frames for 2 to 5 contact
insert modules with a space-saving PE connection are
available.
The contact insert modules are snapped into the
sleeve frame and the frame is then screwed to the plug
connector housing.
Installation note:
The frame has a PE sheet with a PE connection.
Strip the PE conductor by 20 mm and cut the insulation
at 50 mm. Push the cut insulation forward by 15 mm.
Connect the PE contact of the module and clamp the
PE sheet under the PE screw.
Advantages:
– The PE connection to the metal housing is space-
saving without module loss,
–Any position can be the PE contact.
