MATERIALS
1. INSULATION SLEEVE: Heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene
fluoride.
2. SOLDER PREFORM WITH FLUX:
SOLDER: TYPE Sn63 per ANSI-J-STD-006.
FLUX: TYPE ROL1 per ANSI-J-STD-004.
3. CONTACT PIN: Base Metal: Brass per Federal Specification QQ-B-626.
Plating: Solder plated per MIL-P-81728A.
APPLICATION
1. This part is designed to terminate 22 AWG through 24 AWG silver-plated stranded conductors having insulation
rated for greater than 135°C. End strip the conductors for a distance of 7.62±0.76 (0.300±0.030). Twist
conductors into their normal lay, prior to termination pre-tinning is recommended.
2. This part is designed to terminate to PC boards 3.56 – 4.57 (0.140 - 0.180) thick having plated-thru holes
1.27±0.08 (0.050±0. 003) diameter.
3. Use Raychem Tool AD-1590 for installation.
