Bluetooth Module
The new headset supports both BLE and Bluetooth Classic. It is a dual mode module
with lower power consumption. PC, Mac, and Android will have access through
Bluetooth Classic while iOS will have access through BLE.

Minor PCB changes were made to accommodate the new features for the Bluetooth
module.

Front Sensor Arm
The front sensor arm is now more flexible and adjustable. The headset will have a
sticker attached on the left side to indicate how to adjust the front sensor arm.
Power Button
The new headset does not need to be placed into pairing mode. When the headset is
turned on, it is automatically in pairing mode. It now says “on” instead of “on/pair.”
LED Light - The MindWave Mobile 2 LED light as two colors: Red and Blue. Refer to the
chart to see what state the headset is in.
