MATERIALS
1. INSULATION SLEEVE: Heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene fluoride.
2. SOLDER PREFORM WITH FLUX:
SOLDER: TYPE Sn60 per ANSI/J-STD-006.
FLUX: TYPE ROM1 per ANSI/J-STD-004.
3. OPEN CONICAL COIL: Tin-plated copper alloy.
4. RING TERMINAL: Tin-plated copper alloy.
APPLICATION
1. These controlled soldering devices are designed to terminate tin-plated copper stranded wires having an insulation rated for
85°C minimum, to a ring terminal.
2. Temperature range: -55°C to +150°C.
3. Parts conform to the performance requirements of SAE-AS 7928 Specification.
4. See RPIP-820-01 for installation procedure.
