A. Material: Native American Birchwood
B. Wood is considered a safe material for use in
ESD sensitive areas. (It is hygroscopic and
has a low propensity for triboelectric charge
generation under most conditions.)
C. These tools are designed for holding, probing, and
manipulating wires and components during assembly and
soldering. Birchwood is hard enough to give a satisfactory
service life, but soft enough that it will not mar delicate
components and surfaces.
D. Will not conduct electricity.
E. Will not melt or deform at high temperatures.
