Caution when using Breaker
Beforeusingthebreaker,pleasefullyreadtheDESIGN AND HANDLING CAUTIONSstatedbelowtoavoidbreakerperformancedeterioration
and/ordamagetothebreakerbodyorterminal.
DESIGN CAUTIONS
1. Usewithintheelectricalratingsspeciedinthisdatasheet.Ifusedovertheratingofvoltageorcurrent,ON-OFFlifemightbeimpacted
andcontactmaydeteriorateduetobreakerarmdamage.
2. Ifusedovertheelectricalrating,thecircuitmaynotopensafelyoroperateproperly.Pleasetestyourdeviceforanyabnormalitiesand
conrmthatthebreakerwillopenthecircuitsafelyinyourdevice.
3. Mountthebreakeronyourdevicewhereheatisthehighestinordertotransferiteffectivelytothebreaker.
4. Ifthebreakerisafxedwithanadhesive(resin,etc.),fullytest,evaluateandverifythattheadhesivepresentsnonegativeeffectsonthe
breakerbeforeproceeding.
5. Afterthebreakerismounted,afxitsothatthebreakerbodyandterminalswillnotmove.Ifnotafxedproperly,breakerresistancecould
increaseorcontactcouldopenduetostressduringhandlingorvibration/shockduringtransportation.
6. Mountthebreakerbodyandterminalsinastraightandatdirection.Ifthebodyandterminalsaremountedinatwistedcondition,breaker
resistancecouldincreaseorcreatebodydamage.
7. Ifbreakeristoberesin-molded,testandevaluatetheapplicationtodeterminewhetherthebreakercanbeusedeffectively.
8. ThebreakercannotbeusedasarepetitiveON-OFFthermostat.
9. The breaker is not washable. Do not wash.
10.Thebreakerisnotdesignedorwarrantedforow,reoworhand-solderingapplications.Ifsuchapplicationisrequired,youwillneedto
evaluatewhetherthebreakerissuitableforyourspecicapplication.
11. Whenmountingandaftermountingthebreaker,donotapplysupersonicvibration.Vibrationandheatmaycausebreakerresistance
toincreaseormaycausebodydamage.Ifyouplantoapplysupersonicvibrationaftermountingthebreaker,youwillneedtoevaluate
whetherthebreakerissuitableforyourspecicapplication.Thebreakerisnotdesignedorwarrantedtowithstandsupersonicvibration.
12. Do not use the breaker in the following environments:
a) Water, oil, chemicals or organic solutions
b) Directsunlight,outdoorexposure,dust
c) Dewcondensation,allowingthebreakertogetwet
d) Saltbreeze,chlorine,hydrogensulde,ammonium,sulde-oxidation,hydrogenchloride,andanywherethereisapossibilityof
generatingcorrosivegassuchassulfurousacidgas
e) Strong static electric charge or electromagnetic wave
13. Thebreakerisnotdesignedortestedfor,andshouldnotbeusedin,aerospace,airplane,nuclear,military,life-sustainingmedicaland
otherrelatedapplications.
