Check Jumpers
Ensurethejumpersandswitches
are in their default positions by comparing
themtothejumperandswitchsettings
tableinthisQuickStartGuide.
Insert SD Card
InserttheappropriateWindows
EmbeddedCEorLinuxSDcardinto
SDcardsocket0(onthebottomside
of the board).
Connect Ethernet Cable
Connect the Ethernet cable to
thelowerportoftheEthernetjack.

For WinCE:
1.Duringthebootprocess,therewillbe
operating system status information
scrolling on the terminal window of
the PC and the Freescale logo will
beshownonthe4.3”WVGAdisplay
daughtercard.
2. After the boot process completes,
calibrate the touch screen by pressing
the cross-hair targets.
3.TheWindowsCEGUIwillbenowbe
displayed.
4.ConnecttotheInternetviaInternet
Exploreroryourdefaultbrowser.
For Linux:
1.Duringthebootprocess,therewillbe
operating system status information
scrolling on the terminal window of the
PC and a penguin image in the upper
leftcornerofthe4.3”WVGAdisplay
daughter card.
2. After the boot process completes,
the Freescale login prompt will be
displayed on the terminal window and
theLinuxGUIwillbeshownonthe
4.3”WVGAdisplaydaughtercard.
