38-Pin to 14-Pin Conversion Adapter for the E20 Emulator
1. Outline
The R0E000200CKA00 adapter is used to connect the 38-pin
0.5-mm pitch connector on the head of the E20-specific user-
system interface cable to 14-pin 2.54-mm pitch connectors.
Using this conversion adapter allows connection of the E20
even if your system only has the 14-pin connector for the E1.

Before using this product, confirm that the R0E000200CKA00
package contains the following items.

4. Usage (See Figure 2)
The R0E000200CKA00 is connected between the 38-pin
connector on the head of the user-system interface cable (for
the E20) and a 14-pin connector on the user system as shown
in figure 2.
5. 5. Restrictions
Trace signals will not be connected if you are using the
R0E000200CKA00, so the following functions specific to
the E20 are not available.
(1) External trace output (but internal tracing is available)
(2) Realtime RAM monitoring

8. Preparations
Figure 3 shows the limit on the heights of components mounted around the connector on the user system. Take this limit into account
when designing your own system.

An upper limit applies to the heights of components mounted around the connector on the user system.
This limit is only applicable with the following types of connector.
Type number: 7614-6002 (manufactured by Sumitomo 3M Limited)
2514-6002 (manufactured by 3M Limited)
The emulator is connected from this direction.
