Open-cell-foam-backed (one side tacky) for handling ability of top surface.
Blue strip: pre-cured silicone gel.
Release paper: 5-mil thickness paper.
Requirements:
Except as specified above, the product will meet the requirements of Specification RT-1065.
Acceptance tests shall consist of measuring roll width and thickness.
Notes:
Open-cell foam is 0.030” thick. When compressed to less than the nominal gel thickness, gel
penetrates through the open-cell foam to seal substrates on both sides.
