Product description
The Fieldline Extension AS-Interface gateway for PROFIBUS FLX ASI MA 2 PB EF enables easy integration of two AS-Interface networks into a
PROFIBUS DP system. The device has a rugged, high-grade steel housing with the IP20 degree of protection and is intended for use in the control
cabinet.
The gateway enables the operation of AS-Interface slaves with expanded addressing and is specified according to the AS-Interface specification 3.0.
Downward compatibility with AS-i slaves of older specifications is also facilitated.
The connected AS-i slaves can be easily addressed through the AS-Interface gateway using the "Mode" and "Set" keys as well as a 7-segment display.
In the extended display mode, each of the two AS-i circuits can be extensively parameterized and diagnosed with the help of the multi-line LCD display
and the "OK", "Up" and "Down" keys.
