The FPF1039 advanced load management switch targets applications requiring a highly integrated solution for disconnecting loads powered from DC Power Rail (<6 V) with stringent shutdown current targets and high load capacitances (up to 200 µF). The FPF1039 consists of slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET switch (21 mΩ typical) and other integrated analog features. The slew-rate controlled turn-on characteristic prevents inrush-current and the resulting excessive voltage droop on power rails. This device has exceptionally low shutdown current drain (<1 µA maximum) that facilitate compliance in very low standby power applications. The input voltage range operates from 1.2 V to 5.5 V DC to fulfill a wide range of applications in consumer, optical, medical, storage, portable, and industrial device power management. Switch control is managed by a logic input (active HIGH) capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signal/GPIO with no external pull-up required. The device is packaged in advanced fully "green" 1 mm x 1.5 mm Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Packaging (WLCSP); providing excellent thermal conductivity, small footprint, and low electrical resistance for wider application usage.

IntelliMAX™ Advanced Load Management Switches
ON Semiconductor IntelliMAX™ advanced load management switches help designers increase system protection and reduce complexity in their designs while achieving greater system power and reliability. For smart devices and portable storage devices that require a high current capability and low ON-resistance solution for power path management. ON Semiconductor FPF1038, FPF1039, and FPF1048 IntelliMAX smart load switches offer an ON-resistance of 21mΩ and 23mΩ and an input voltage range of 1.2V-5.5V and 1.5V-5.5V, demonstrating exceptionally low shutdown current drain to help facilitate compliance in low-standby power applications. The optimized slew rate controlled turn-on characteristics with TR=2.7mS prevent voltage droop on supply rails with bulk capacitances as large as 200µF. FPF1048 also offers True Reverse Current Block to avoid unwanted reverse power regardless of the device being on or off. FPF2165R and FPF2195 full-function load switches with adjustable current limits are suited for applications with physical connectors, like USB and HDMI™ devices, that may encounter large current conditions. FPF1320 and FPF1321 devices are suitable for wireless charging applications with a dual-input single-output (DISO) load switch. These Fairchild switches perform seamless power-source transitions between two input power rails using the SEL pin with an advanced break-before-make operation. FPF1320 and FPF1321 are designed to interface directly with low-voltage control signal General Purpose Input Output (GPIO) applications.
