The tunability is due to the material called ParaScan™ based on Barium Strontium Titanate (BST). The ferroelectric characteristics of ParaScan allows a large variation of the electric constant.The TCP-5018UB features an ultra−high 5:1 tuning range, and an operation range from 2V to 24V.
