1/8 to 1/10-Duty LCD Driver
with Key Input Function
Overview
The LC75808W is 1/8 to 1/10 duty LCD display driver that can directly
drive up to 600 segments and can control up to four general-purpose
output ports. This product also incorporates a key scan circuit that
accepts input from up to 30 keys to reduce printed circuit board wiring.
Features
Key input function for up to 30 keys (A key scan is performed only
when a key is pressed.)
1/8duty–1/4bias, 1/9duty–1/4bias, and 1/10duty–1/4bias drive schemes
can be controlled from serial data.
1/8duty–1/4bias : up to 480 segments
1/9duty–1/4bias : up to 540 segments
1/10duty–1/4bias : up to 600 segments
Sleep mode and all segments off functions that are controlled from
serial data.
Serial data I/O supports CCB* format communication with the system
controller.
Direct display of display data without the use of a decoder provides
high generality.
Built-in display contrast adjustment circuit.
Up to 4 general-purpose output ports are included.

Provision of an on-chip voltage-detection type reset circuit prevents
incorrect displays.
The INH
pin is provided. This pin turns off the display, disables key
scanning, and forces the general-purpose output ports to the low level.
