Silicon Labs EFM8 EFM8BB Busy Bee 8-bit MCUs provide state-of-the-art performance by integrating 12-bit ADC, internal temperature sensor, and up to two 12-bit DACs into small packages. Using an efficient, pipelined 8051 core with maximum operating frequency at 50MHz, various communication interfaces, and four channels of configurable logic, the EFM8BB MCUs are well-suited for many embedded and general-purpose applications.

All EFM8 devices have highly efficient peripherals, low-power consumption, BOM integration and exquisite analog. The highly flexible digital and analog multiplexing strategy means that you can route nearly every I/O pin "wisely" to simplify PCB routing. Designers can choose peripherals and pinout placement without worrying about pre-set limitations and pin conflicts. The EFM8 MCUs come with a comprehensive IDE including sample code and energy aware monitoring tools.
