PCB LAYOUT RECOMMENDATION
As with any switching power supplies, there are some
guidelines to follow to optimize the layout of the printed
circuit board for the NCV890130. However, because of the
high switching frequency extra care has to be taken.
Minimize the area of the power current loops:
Input capacitor ³ NCV890130 switch ³ Inductor
³ output capacitor ³ return through Ground
Freewheeling diode ³ inductor ³ Output capacitor
³ return through ground
Minimize the length of high impedance signals, and
route them far away from the power loops:
