AVX's 12- and 16-position I/O connector from the 9257 series connector system offer a SMT socket and a cable terminated plug assembly. The fixed SMT socket is designed to be mounted on a PCB and housed within a portable device. The plug is designed for cable termination with options of single- and double-sided contacts. A list of applications includes mobile phones, digital music players, hand-held terminals, and small portable devices.
