United Chemi-Con's KYB series radial lead-type aluminum electrolytic capacitors are recommended for low-voltage secondary-side smoothing for digital consumer appliances, general-use power supplies and adapters.

Due to the downsizing trend of power supplies in industrial equipment, consumer appliances, adapters, LED drivers, and backlight units for LCD displays, the board space has reduced. As a result, output filter capacitors are required to have longer life and higher ripple current capability with super-low ESR.

For the KYB series, a newly developed electrolyte and high gain capacitance foils are used, achieving the smallest size, longest life, and highest ripple current compared with existing industry products. The KYB series will contribute to the downsizing, but will maintain the retention of power capability in all output filtering applications.
