APEM's P65 series comes in a 10 mm square package with multiple-actuator accessory options and position markings ready for user interface. Made with UL94-V0 high-temperature thermoplastic, P65 switches are ideal for high-temperature applications where performance and dependability are critical. APEM’s P65 series DIP coded rotary switches are available in SMT and through-hole configurations and are ESD protected up to 8 kV. P65 switches are available in 4, 6, 10, and 16-position configurations with numerous output code configurations. P65 DIP rotaries feature two-actuator styles: screw driver and cross-shaped for accessories. These switches are designed to meet the RoHS (restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) directive (2002/95/EC). The SMT versions of the P65 series are compatible with high-temperature, lead-free surface-mount processing.

The DH Series is a completely reflow solderable 10-position DIP coded rotary switch with a permanently-fixed thumbwheel. Available as PCB left- or right-surface-mount configurations; the DH series is 5 mm wide (6 mm with crown), and can be numerically marked as 0-9 or 1-10, making it suitable for applications with limited space and narrow housings. With its narrow-width, range-of-marking, tactile interface and mounting options, APEM’s DH series DIP coded rotary switches are versatile and compact enough to simplify human interface in address and parameter setting in a variety of electronic applications, eliminating the need for additional space normally dedicated to such interfaces.
