Eaton announces the launch of the Coiltronics brand HCM0503 series high-current power inductors. HCM0503 high-current power inductors feature a 125°C maximum total temperature operation, are available in a 5.5 x 5.3 x 3.0 mm surface-mount package, are magnetically shielded, and have low EMI. The HCM0503 series offers an inductance range from 0.20 μH to 15 μH, current range from 2.4 to 22.2 A, and a frequency range up to 1 MHz. Applications include voltage regulator modules (VRMs), multi-phase regulators, point-of-load modules, base station equipment, information technology / computing, laptops and netbooks, graphics cards, data storage systems, battery power systems, desktop, and servers.
