KK Interconnect Solutions

Molex's KK connector system can be designed into a variety of power and signal applications. Available in industry-standard 2.54 mm and 3.96 mm pitch sizes, this single-row, wire-to-board and board-to-board product family is cost effective and versatile. KK RPC (Reflow Process Compatible) headers are available in both signal and power families and can handle solder temperatures up to 260ºC. Additionally, customizable KK headers allow for more polarization options and design configurations, which make the KK connector system ideal for a variety of industries.

Power application KK 396 connectors are ideal for use in industries such as automotive, medical, and consumer. Dual-cantilever terminals offer a square-post contact area that interfaces with the male pin header through a spring-like contact. Available in 18 AWG to 24 AWG wire, anti-fishing options are available to protect the wire during cable assembly.

MarKK™ terminals are used to provide a high-force interface, ensuring a solid-performing contact for power applications up to 13.0 A and 600 V per circuit. KK 396 headers are available in single-row, unshrouded through-hole PCB termination styles in solid and breakaway varieties. A friction lock is available for a more secure mating interface and kinked PC tails ensure contact with the PCB during solder processing.

KK 396 PCB receptacles are available in right-angle, top-entry and board-through configurations. Housings have built-in polarization features and are available in UL 94V-2 and UL 94V-0 nylons.

Signal application KK 254 connectors are ideal for use in industries such as automotive, medical and consumer, delivering up to 5.0 A and 250 V per circuit in a 2.54 mm centerline pitch. Dual-cantilever terminals offer a square-post contact area that interfaces with the male pin header through a spring-like contact. Available in 22 AWG to 30 AWG wire, an optional box-style dual-cantilevered terminal is optimal for high-vibration applications.

Headers are available in single-row, unshrouded, through-hole PCB termination styles in solid and breakaway varieties. A friction lock is available for a more secure mating interface. KK 254 PCB receptacles are available in right-angle, top-entry and board-through configurations. Housings have built-in polarization features and are available in UL 94V-2 and UL 94V-0 nylons.
