HCMA1707 Series Automotive Power Inductors

Eaton announces the launch of the Coiltronics®  brand HCMA1707 series high-current power inductors. HCMA1707 meets and exceeds the automotive electronics council’s (AEC) Q200 grade 3 standard with a maximum total temperature operation range from -55°C to 125°C. The inductor is designed to withstand temperature and shock stresses found in automotive applications that include body electronics, such as lighting, HVAC, and controls for doors, windows, and seats; advanced driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise controls (ACC), automatic parking controls, and collision avoidance systems; infotainment and cluster electronics; and chassis and safety electronics, including airbag control units, electronic stability control systems (ESC), and electronic power steering (EPS). The HCMA1707 series has a 17.5 mm X 17.2 mm footprint, magnetically shielded for low EMI, and a frequency range up to 1 MHz.
