Panduit’s Disco series of disconnects can be inserted and removed from the tab without the use of tools for lower installed cost. The unique locking mechanism design allows for low insertion forces (mating), and positive lock for high vibration applications where a secure connection is mandatory. The flared barrel extension is integrated into stamping to provide insulation grip for double-crimp requirements. The expanded wire entry is designed with a larger insulation thickness, which also provides protection from electrical shorts.
