Diodes' APR345 is a secondary side MOSFET driver for synchronous rectification in offline fly-back power supplies. Packaged in the small SOT26 package and requiring only four external components, it senses the external MOSFET’s drain-to-source voltage and drives the MOSFET reducing the voltage drop and system power dissipation. APR345 supports CCM, DCM, and quasi-resonant mode in fly-back topologies. APR345 provides the smallest footprint, high performance solution for 5 V to 12 V output voltage applications at a very competitive BOM cost.
